1. The Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway is open to anyone who purchases a pair of Messy Weekend x Yacht Week sunglasses and is aged 20 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third parties directly associated with Yacht Week or Messy Weekend. Any references to clauses in these terms and conditions of participation are references to clauses in this document.

2. The Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway is free to enter and (for the avoidance of doubt) requires no future purchase of a Yacht Week package holiday, nor any other package holiday that is offered for sale by the Promoter, prior to participation.

3. In order to participate in the Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway, entrants are required to buy a limited edition of the Messy Weekend x Yacht Week sunglasses. There is no maximum number of sunglass purchases per person and entrants can purchase as many pairs as they consider appropriate.

4. The Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway starts at 4:30 PM UK time on Wednesday 7th August 2024. The Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway closes at 5:00 PM UK time on Wednesday 21st August 2024. Any entries/purchases made after the closing time will be excluded from participation in the Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway. The Promoter reserves the right to change the closing date in the event there exists unavoidable circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter which make it necessary to change the closing date to the extent that this will not disadvantage any persons who have already submitted valid entries and participated in the the Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway.

5. The Promoter shall accept no responsibility in respect of any and all entries which were not successfully uploaded in the manner as described under clause 3 above due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind whatsoever.

6. The winner will be selected by an automatic system that will choose one entrant at random.

7. The winner will receive a Classic Monohull Cabin Booking for a week on one of Yacht Week 2025 routes and 2 pairs of Messy Weekend sunglasses. Yacht Week will provide the winning entrant with options for date(s) of which the entrant can choose to attend Yacht Week as part of the competition prize. For the avoidance of doubt the Promoter will not cover any transport, mooring fees, fuel or other incidental costs (including airfare) incurred
by the winning entrant before, upon or after communicating acceptance of their prize under clause 8 below.

8. The winning entrant will be notified by email on Wednesday 21st August. If the winning
entrant does not respond to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winning entrant’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winning entrant in accordance with the process described in clause 6 above.

9. Further details of the prize will be sent to the winning entrant by email within 30 days of being notified of their win.
10. The prize for the winning entrant is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered by the Promoter.


11. The prize will be supplied by an on-site supplier and therefore the Promoter cannot be held responsible for any improper performance in relation to delivery of the prize as described in any of the Promoter’s marketing materials and these terms and conditions of participation (in particular clause 7 above) except as provided for in The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992. The Promoter reserves the right to
replace the prize described under clause 7 above with an alternative prize of equal or higher value in the event there exists unavoidable circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter which make it necessary to do so.

12. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway, shall be final and binding. No correspondence, discussion or negotiation will be entered into about any aspect of the Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024
Giveaway.

13. The winning entrant’s name may be viewed online either on Yacht Week’s Facebook page or on Instagram.

14. Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions of participation upon participation in the Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway, in the manner as described in clause 3 above. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize described under clause 7 above to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions of participation.

15. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the operation of the Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway, where it becomes necessary to do so.

16. Insofar as is permitted by law and only to the extent as provided for in The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 and subject to clause 11 above, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to
compensate the winning entrant or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of accepting the prize described under clause 7 above except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

17. Winning entrants may be required to participate in publicity related to the Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway,, which may include the publication of their name and entry in any media, including social media campaigns, operated by the Promoter from time to time.

18. Personal data supplied during the course of the Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway, may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfillment/delivery/arrangement of the prize as described under clause 7 above.

19. The Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway, will be governed by English law and entrants to the Messy Weekend x Yacht Week 2024 Giveaway, submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
